Such a small word! The power behind it is overwhelming. Governor Davis signed this bill into effect in 2003. It essentially changes the entire sex-Ed and Family Life codes.
Prior to this bill, parents had to be notified of each speaker or event at the school that dealt with controversial subject matter of sex or family life. The bill changed this law and now parents only have to be notified at the beginning of the year and anything that takes place after this (a change in speaker or an add on) parents do not have to be notified. This bill also pushed forward sex-Ed with a thrust that will literally change our society forever, for it will soon be in every state. CA tends to be the trendsetter in America.
It is now mandated that if and when a school chooses to have sex-Ed or Family Life, it must conform to new standards. The new standards lack moral clarity. They have been changed into a humanist code that states everything is okay encouraging even further the abusiveness of the public schools toward our children. Homosexual propagandists are abusing our youth and the schools have bought into programs that no longer teach a set of standards that will protect them from disease, death, mental illness and lifestyles that can destroy any hope of peace in their lives.
You will understand this as I quote below these changes and you can make your own decision as to how our schools will now PUSH our children into having sex and more sex. It is thrown at them all day long in public schools throughout CA.
Please remember that our kids today cannot even remember to brush their teeth sometimes, so how can they remember to put on condoms? Not only this fact, but keep in mind that if you have something like ice cream in front of you all day long, how can you resist its temptation? Eventually they give in and once the youth finds SEX, they will not stop. It consumes them at a time when they need their energy to learn about reading, writing, and arithmetic and yes even our American history.
The schools have teachers and authority figures with new age ideas that are and have been infiltrating our system for some 50 years and they are promoting the everything is okay principle with every class they teach. The SEED program and others promote the Humanist Religion and believe that each decision the child or teen makes is dependent on the moment's situation (Situationism) and not on solid moral values.
The history of how we have come so far through the last 100 years to accept such programs as SEED is explained in my Book. This is crucial for every American to understand. It is explained in an easy to understand read and will help you make decisions about the school systems in your community. Below are the new changes to the sex-Ed and Family Life codes for the state of CA. that are sure to destroy even more the traditional values of America.

Deleted are the following:
- Abstinence until marriage
- Emotional and psychological consequences of having sex outside of marriage
- Consequences of unwanted pregnancy

Must conform with All races,genders, sexual orientation, etc.,English learners and age appropriate. It will begin in 7th grades. Can even be Kindergarten. NO religious doctrine allowed

- The above Programs are not mandatory. If the schools choose to have the programs then they must adhere to the curriculum as dictated by the new codes. There are more codes than above. The education codes are Education Code Sections 51930 to 51938. They replace ALL previous Education Codes in Family Life/Sex Education.
- The only thing that is mandatory is that HIV and AIDS be mentioned one time in instruction for middle and high school students. Amazing that youth are dying every day from these diseases and yet it is only mandatory for them to be mentioned one time with no strict guidelines as to what or how or lifestyles etc. promoting it.
- Make sure if you are parents or grandparents that you sign the opt out forms which allow you to take your child out of this type of instruction. Your children will indeed be led into education that is belittling and embarrassing for them. They will be taught values and morals far different than the Judeo-Christian values that once predominated our country.

If Family Life is taught, according to some info I read from an organization in San Francisco organized by the ACLU, the parents cannot OPT OUT their children from the class even though it will discuss objectionable issues of the parents. This is contradictory to the Supreme Court Decision that parents have the ultimate authority in education of their children. Parents do have the right to remove their children from objectionable classroom material because of the Fourteenth Amendment Due Process Clause and the First Amendment Free Speech Clause and Free Exercise Clauses.
If the school has Federal Funding for the program, then the Hatch Letter can also be used to Opt Out. You can use this letter as an example of an efficient and useful tool to voice your opinion of how you want your children raised. Remember if you think they will only have the programs mentioned at the beginning of the year think again. They can contract with outside agencies to come into the schools and teach controversial subject matter. Many schools are doing this with Planned Parenthood and they are notorious for teaching very OPEN and LIBERAL sex-Ed.
