SEED has been training teachers across this nation and in Asia since 1987. According to "The National SEED Project" article by Cathy L. Nelson (January 1992), SEED was at that time training teachers in 32 states and seven Asian countries.

SEED has existed for over 15 years and more than 33 states have embraced it. It has infiltrated not only universitities, but also grammer, middle and high schools. It systemically transforms education across America by indoctrination of teachers, parents and students with radical ideas and political agendas that are contrary to our American traditions of education.

The transforming education takes place behind "closed" doors. No one, who is not signed up, can attend a class. The methodology used is quiet, secretive and breaks down the previous belief system of the attendees, making the individual ready to accept the new knowledge, which is contrary to a set code of rights and wrongs and our Judeo-Christian beliefs. Attendees are instucted not to discuss, outside the classroom, any education that takes place during SEED sessions.

Peggy McIntosh, originator of SEED,and Associate Director of the Wellesley College for Research on Women, has spoken at Peking University in Beijing at the request of the Committee on Women in Marxism. Her interviews and website for SEED include information indicative of support for communism, socialism and humanism. California Education Code 51530 prohibits teaching of Communism and yet SEED is allowed in school districts with Elk Grove CA being used as one of the best models of it.

Peggy McIntosh developed this program due to inadequacies she felt as a student when she answered questions incorrectly. She felt that she should not be made to feel that she was unworthy because she gave the wrong answer. Her quest is to make everyone feel good about themselves and that even in the wrong answer we should feel we are winners. Expectations and competition needs to be eliminated because everyone is equal and has a right to everything. Competition only leads to low self esteen. If we rid society of competition, SAT scores as an example, then it would show love.

Thus the SEED classes all revolve around oppression (Marxism) and getting rid of it by demanding rights that are somehow due you. The SEED education material is humanist and incorporates books, movies, and techniques that move people toward revolution. More specific info can be found under SEED approved Education Material. I will give a few examples of the material used in SEED.

One of the movies SEED uses is called It's Elementary, which shows teachers how to introduce homosexuality into the classroom, by methods that are sensitive. The SEED teachers are told in sessions and in classes, such as Making SEED Principles the Foundation of Standards-Based Curriculum, to incorporate homosexuality and the above political agendas into "All" of their subject matter. Homosexual individuals are pointed out as they teach History.

The traditional American Family is downplayed and SEED teachers encourage same-sex marriage. Homosexuals have already won same-sex marriage, for our future voters are being indoctrinated. The homosexual lifestyle is encouraged when same-sex couples visit grade 1-12 classrooms coercing our little ones to believe they are the same as heterosexuals and only want to marry for love.

Of course all the statistics of disease, sexual deviance, violence, mental stress, child molestations that are extremely high in homosexual lifestyles are never mentioned. The 1-2% homosexuals "cause" of normality is now being put above students' safety, lives, and the future of our family unit.

They use many books in SEED trainings; one of them is called Lies My Teacher Told Me by James Loewen. It encourages the further breakdown of history and traditional beliefs.

The wheel of oppression is used. This shows that white, male, heterosexual, rich, able-bodied men are the oppressors. Peggy McIntosh is an avid teacher of "White Privilege." She writes and lectures on this subject and teaches others that white people have systematically repressed others. Boys are made to feel guilty for being white and male.

The SEED program separates cultures and does not workd toward assimilation. It is loaded with sessions and information on other cultures that far outweigh any information that is given on being American. The idea is to elevate every culture as being equal or even better than being an American. It is selfish in scope and robs America of its future citizens. It diminishes the patriotic spirit that is rightly ours as individuals and so deserving of a Nation that has given so much, to so many.

The above are but a few examples of SEED principles. The program deceptively entangles those who think it love to premit everything and anything. It attracts those who "feel" our state and government owe them certain rights that traditional Americans know must be worked toward in order to preserve our freedoms and individuality.

As citizens of the United States our government guarantees us protection. SEED's focus is on oppression. Every person is shown through systemic indoctrination that they are repressed and oppressed by a socity that is taking advantage of them. Everyone is made to "feel" that they have been unjustly treated. Unrest develops and each person has a "cause." Their cause becomes predominant in their life. We can see this in the homosexual movement. Thus change is brought about by a force set in motion by discontentment that has been taught through education. Hegelian Marxism is working everyday in your childs classroom or your workplace to move America toward social revolution.

Our classrooms across America are being abused and so are our children. Federal and state laws dictate that race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and disability are protected classes. Thus our government is required to protect us. If government funds are being given to schools that are breaking the law, then how can our tiniest of citizens be protected?

The First Amendment states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of Religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech."

The exposure of children to instruction, material, and activity that is hostile to faith is coercion.

"Even subtle pressure diminishes the right of each individual to choose voluntarily what to believe..."

"Students exposed to concepts hostile to their religious faith experience coercion, though subtle, to renounce their faith in the same way that students who are exposed to Bible reading or prayer are 'coerced' to embrace a religious faith."

Children are kept captive in the classroom and coerced into contrary religious and political beliefs. According to Edwards v. Aguillard 482 U.S. 578, 584 (1987) the following is true:

"The Court has recognized on numerous occasions that the Public school creates an inherently coercive atmosphere due to mandatory attendance, laws, the tender age of most of most students, students emulation of teachers as role models , and peer pressure in group settings."

The political and social agendas of SEED are Humanist teachings taken from the Humanist Manifesto. The Supreme Court has deemed Humanism a Religion on three different court cases. They are United States v. Kauten (2d Cir. 1943), Fellowship of Humanity v. County of Alameda (1957) and in the Supreme Court decision of Torcaso v. Watkins in 1961. It is illegal to promote a particular religion in schools.

Eagle Forum of Sacramento and the Citizens of Elk Grove California ask that federal and state Funding be removed from the Elk Grove, San Juan, and Sacramento School District, as well as schools across America, that promote SEED and like programs.

The Education System in Elk Grove has changed dramatically since the inception of SEED 7 years ago; moral and political decay is apparent throughout the district. The school board continues to approve more SEED programs, even with conclusive proof of SEED's agendas. Our children, the future voters of America, need your protection. Their very lives are at risk and so is our Nation's future! We must wake up.

Contact your school boards and hold them accountable for such programs. Vote in representatives that stand for America. Contact Congressman, and Legislators about this program and similar ones. Request that federal and state funding be stopped from schools that promote SEED. Go to First Amendment Rights, under menu, for a sample letter to Margaret Spellings, Secretary of Education, that you can use to fax her and your congressmen.

Question your children daily as to what they are learing in the classroom. It is your right to review all subject material. However, because SEED incorporates its priniciples deceptively into all curriculum, you will not find it in the lesson plan. Your child will be your best source of information.
